Our Mission Safe Journey is a not-for-profit agency providing a holistic approach to healing from domestic violence. Our agency offers a wide variety of practical, emotional, and spiritual support services to individuals and families who are breaking free from the cycle of violence and are focused on rebuilding their lives. Situated in a secure suburban location, Safe Journey provides a safe, personal atmosphere where survivors of domestic abuse will find allies deeply committed to supporting their journey. We recognize that rebuilding is a process with many facets and that each survivor has unique needs. Our Services Safe Journey offers a range of support and educational services customized to each survivor, including: Individual Counseling and Support Groups Self-Defense Classes Advocacy for Court and Housing Issues Legal and Financial Workshops Career and Educational Mentoring Referrals to Appropriate Agencies Social Activities All services are provided free of charge and participation is strictly confidential. Our Community In addition to supporting survivors, Safe Journey offers a community outreach program dedicated to educating community and youth groups, businesses, faith-based organizations and governance agencies about the prevalence and impact of domestic violence in all communities.
